Mukunda - The Movie Review

Movie : Mukunda
Theater :  SVC Mahalakshmi Screen 2, Kothapet
Show Time : 6 to 9 PM, 26/12/2014
Theater Feel : 3 out of 5 (5 being best)
Movie Rating : 2 out of 5 (5 being best)
Overall Impact on Audience : 2.25 (5 being best)

Hero : Varun Tej
Heroine : Pooja Hedge
Villain : Rao Ramesh
Director/Story/Screenplay/writer : Srikanth Addala
Music Director : Mickey J Meyer
Editor : Marthand K Venkatesh

Varun Tej Resembles Daggubati Rana. Rana got a good start though Leader. Did Varun Tej get? I don't think so.

StoryLine :

A young stud stands up against Municipal Chairman for repeatedly attempting to warn/kill his best friend.Did he win? Did he lose?

MainStory :
As a Tollywood hero, you are meant to win the race! It just that how you win the race is the story of the movie.

Arjun - Mukunda are 2 best friends. Arjun loves daughter of Chairman's brother. Chairman's son knows about this and attacks Arjun. Mukunda Saves him and warns the goons to never ever touch his friend Arjun or they will face his wrath.

Arjun is seen with his lover, fights ensue with Mukunda showing his muscle power. Then and there you will be seeing Prakash Raj reciting dialogues which are actually very good. 'Loving India, Democratic India, Romatic India, Fighting India' - Some of the themes of the dialogue!

After interval Elections are scheduled to happen. Mukunda wants to show Chairman that people may flash that they like you but it is not entirely true!. Mukunda selects Prakash Raj as the candidate and ever changing pricey Onions as election symbol. Another significance of Onions is his father is a Onion trader.

Onion wins the election and chairman to avenge his defeat - tries to marry off his brother's daughter and chairman's son tries to kill Arjun. In both incidents, as you know - Mukunda turns the tide.

Plot&Movie Review :

The plot is usual. All through the movie, surprisingly Hero and heroine never talk to each. By the way, Heroine is chairman's daughter and Mukunda taunts chairman by speaking out 'Your daughter is very beautiful'. The movie is good in patches. Scenes involving Mukunda and Rao Ramesh are very good. Rao Ramesh using science in politics is kind of eccentric to what we see in the movies. Scenes involving Prakash Raj are good too. Those dialogues are well written. Mukunda did not have many emotions to show. One serious face all through the movie. Bad for him. His next film will again look like a debutant film.

What the movie misses terribly is - Comedy, bad editing, poor screenplay and usual story. Directors when they are going to direct a newcomer. They may not be knowing the actor completely. So it is good time to experiment. And new comers too, irrespective of the image movie is going to give them, they have to try something new. Its my view.

Technical :

I somehow did not feel the movie is rich in color. Even the camera looks hazy, it did not capture the moments properly. You can see the noise in the movie. Movie is poorly edited, probably less time to edit as it was scheduled to be released as Sankranthi release.

Director Addala, owner of the story, dailogues and screenplay, did his worst job in all the 3 films till now. I usual wait to hear the final dialogue of the director at the end of the movie, this time I was not interested at all.

Movie Fact : After watching the movie, I cant say it is one time watch.

To be silent isn't being strong!

Silence!!!

Shusssshhhhh!!!

Noru Terchaku!!!

These things you usually hear daily. If you are not, then you are not living in a patriarchal society or Family.

These are the words you hear before Violence. Violence at Home! Home may be of well educated and well uneducated but neither the words change nor the behavior.

Why do you think Sexual Harassment cases are peaking? Sorry, My Bad, Cases are not peaking but the number of such incidents out in open are increasing.

Many women are coming out of the "cocoon of taking up pain". Why should they be silent? Why were they silent all these days?

Why were they silent all these days? I don't know. I guess, it might be due to their physical weakness. It might be. May be the pressure inserted by Family. But Why do you think they are physical weak? They are the ones who do all the chores everyday. They should be strong enough to do some kick-ass stuff!

Physical weakness does not look like a reason. But why do women are victims in most of the sexual harassment cases?

For every 10 men in India, almost 8 women are educated. If every educated men are not resorting to such kind of violence, there should not be any such cases. But there are. Why do the incidents still happen? Education can not be a scale to check Sexual Abuse - violence.

In every street, you see a gang - rowdy gang - a gang of useless male predators. Why aren't such female gang? Even if they exist like Gulabi Gang, People make films and mock at it.

Once one Prabudda told me the reason behind Sexual Abuse. He said, "The main reason behind this violence is not the sexual urge at the moment but the pride of being man leading to a thought that I am stronger than any woman and I can do what I want!" Sounds kind of true.

In Country like India, People say Everything happens for a reason.... And Everyone reasons everything... Finally leading to no concrete answer!

Just in case if you ever had something bad happening to you.. remember ... "To be silent is not being strong!"

PK - The movie review

Movie : PK
Theater :  Kaleel, Nandyal
Show Time : 2 to 5 PM, 20/12/2014
Theater Feel : 2 out of 5 (5 being best)
Movie Rating : 4 out of 5 (5 being best)
Overall Impact on Audience : 3.5 (5 being best)

Whenever a good movie is made, It becomes a good movie purely due to detailing. Concepts come and go. Inspirations can be many. But it is the level of detailing and story telling which has impact on the audience and that is how a great movie is made.

I am sure when PK was in storyboard stage, it might have looked silly but the more RKH put his time into the story, the better the story turned into. Personally, I feel there are only 3 directors in industry who are best story tellers - RKH of bollywood, SS of Tollywood and Shankar of Kollywood.

People may mistake me, for me story telling is not elite, Story telling should be so easy that even a school going kid understands what the movie is telling him. Movies have power of captivating attention of Audience. And Movies are bad, good , better and best.

Lets come back to PK undoubtedly best Bollywood movie of the year. A 'nude A Khan with transistor' to 'Nude R Kapoor with Dressed A Khan', the movie has been made with much thoughts put into action and making silly things look intelligent.

'Tappa' laga hai kya? We are never born with any stamp or we do have any idea what we are. We behave how our parents want us to behave, we just take the religion, region, genes of our parents without much resistance. A country like India, where everyone has a religion attached, there is no scope for a person with no religion.

We never see any government forms with Religion being blank. Religion is a must fill field!

Couple of years back, we had OMG which questioned babas of India. Now, we have PK which is questioning the very existence of Religion and God.

RKH want to put this idea about Religion into a movie. how can he put this concept into a movie with someone born on earth or India? So he got us an Alien who wants to study Earth.

He is Goody Goody Alien who lost his very own existence the moment he landed on earth. He is not able to connect to his world. Now what can he do? He studied people, dressing style without knowing the language of people. He stumbles upon S Dutt where he learns what friendship means and luckily learns the language of people in the Honeymoon tent :)

He goes to Delhi to find his remote to his world. He meets Jaggu with pamphlets 'Missing God', 'Lapatha Bhagwan'. Jaggu is intelligent journalist who returned to India after a misunderstood breakup with a Pakistani. RKH might have misled us here :). But wait.

Jaggu finds a Khan amusing and listens to his story. First she does not believe him but ultimately A Khan has some powers. He falls in love with Jaggu in process of finding the right number to call good. He finds his remote with one big Baba BC who fools people saying the remote is the piece of Damaruka of Lord Shiva. And we Indians are so foolish, believe into something eternal and forgetting the present. A Khan Confronts with baba tapasvi, baba confronts with A Khan, finally a khan makes the right Call and #Indiawithpakistan happen.

Jaggu finds out PK was in love with her and as a tribute she writes 'PK' and was narrating the entire story to a group of Audience with her Dad's non stop whistles.

I liked the way RKH treated the concept of Religion. RKH says there is something eternal and we do not know about it. But we have some people propagating all the wrong agendas and their own agendas - They propagate as they are God's sayings. Religion was primarily formed to unite people - the same religion is dividing people - Creating all the ruckus allover the world.. you see deaths everyday in the name of religion.. you see conversions in the name of religion... What we are forgetting to understand is we are all born of the same womb.. all the religions are the same... We are same!

ISRO - Can it be independent of Govt Funding?

It just a thought that why can't ISRO be independent of Govt Funding.

There are crazy people out there who fund ISRO if they name a satellite or Rocket as they want.

There are youth who are the most willing to contribute for the causes ISRO is institutionalized...

ISRO can come up with innovative ways of raising money...

Man - Made of Money or Blood and Flesh?

What I am made of?

There were days when Man used to protect himself from Wild animals and beasts. He used to save his skin from the cold bitchy winds. He used to help others so that they help in return.

That was once upon a time.

And then in the medieval period, Many leaders shown us that it is your flesh and blood which wins wars and which wins rivals' hearts.

When I look at me today, What I am pitted against today? What I am made of? How do people perceive me?

In the region I live in, there is a scale. Its called 'Money Scale'. Respect depends on your rating on money scale.

When someone plunges knife into abdomen, you don't bleed blood. You bleed money.

When someone looks at you, they don't perceive how qualified you are, how interesting human being you are, they just see pile of cash you are going to be or earning now.

When someone looks at you, if you are male, they calculate how much dowry you are going to get, if you are female, how much dowry you need to shell out if you want to get married.

When someone looks at you, they don't see your face, legs or hands, they see the weight of property you hold or your parents hold.

When someone looks at you, they always think, what should I ask him? Can you give loan me some amount please? is the usual question.

When someone looks at you, they respect if you are well-being, they loathe you if you are not well being.

When someone looks at you, they suggest you many things, none of which they follow.

When someone looks at you, they don't wish your well being unless your well being is proportionate to theirs.

When someone looks at you, they are green-eyed, always with a hidden want.

Tell me now, are you man of blood and flesh or Money?

How do you look at other man? of blood and flesh or money?

That someone can be you and me... We can be that someone.

Whoever that someone is.. remember one thing... you are made of Blood and Flesh... when you die... you take Blood and flesh.... Money, respect, good name, etc are the remains which are enjoyed by your descendants but not you... So don't judge people for what they are and what they earn... just Fucking don't!!!

Frozen Feet - Places to visit in Moscow

Frozen Feet is a disease - I am not talking about it now.

I was lucky to Visit Moscow and stay there for 5 weeks. In Total, I got 4 weekends to explore the city.

I had chance to visit most of the best tourist sites of the city irrespective of the season being Winter and so is Frozen Feet.

1) Krasnayaskaya - The red Square, Kremlin, GUM Mall, V Lenin,

Red Square is a city square in Moscow, Russia. The square separates the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and currently the official residence of the President of Russia,
from a historic merchant quarter- Kitai-gorod. Red Square is often considered the central square of Moscow, because Moscow's major streets—which connect to Russia's major highways—originate from the square.

You can read more about it at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Square

On the left of St Basil's Cathedral(The one you see in the picture), you have GUM mall which is the costliest in entire Russia. GUM mall is the most beautiful mall I have ever been too. You will be astonished to see such a beauty. On the right of the cathedral, You see the huge Kremlin wall where Mr Putin stays put. You should take Kremlin tours, you will get tickets for the same near the front gate of Kremlin Wall. In front of the Cathedral, you will find national history museum, don't miss the chance visit it. On the Red Square, you will get chance to see V Lenin's body, but you can only visit it between 10 AM to 1 PM. It was good to see such a stalwart alive.

2) Leo Tolstoy Museum and House
Being Indian, No one should miss a chance to visit Leo Tolstoy's house/museum given that his thoughts are put into action my our father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Sadly, I did not get chance to see the letters exchanged between them as they are not in display. But the Museum/house staff were very friendly with us as they identified as Indians.

More details can be found at http://www.russianmuseums.info/M299

3) Arbatskaya - The walk Street

If you ever want to buy souvenirs, Visit Arbatskaya. Its near to Red Square, better take Metro. Things are way cheaper than the city centre.

4) Moscow International Business Center and AFI Mall

I generally took Metro to reach any place in Moscow except the one which are near. To reach MIBC, as usual I took Metro, I reached the station. Just out of station, you see these huge structures standing still. That momentary turn sets the moment for the day. There is AFI mall nearby which is very good. I did a lot of shopping there.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_International_Business_Center

5) Moscow University and Sparrow Hill

It was very cold day and I walked about 3 kms in -10 C day. I somehow managed to stay for 3 hours in -10 C which is very hard taking into account South Indian Standards. There is a cable car drive down the hill. You can see MIBC from the hill and you can also see the frozen tributary of river, Moskva of Volga. Its a beautiful view from the Sparrow hill.

6) Metros of Moscow

Last but not least, Metros of Moscow. Metro tourism itself, is very big and don't miss the chance to visit most of them.

That is my Moscow Story. Whats' yours?

Lingaa - Movie Review and Story

Movie : Lingaa
Theater :  Rajdhani, Dilsukh Nagar, Hyderabad
Show Time : 9 to 12 PM, 12/12/2014
Theater Feel : 2 out of 5 (5 being best)
Movie Rating : 3 out of 5 (5 being best)
Overall Impact on Audience : 2.5 (5 being best)

Its not just any other movie. This movie is Special. It is Rajnikanth's movie after 4 years. With Ravi Kumar as its Director, It is meant to be a super success for the Superstar.

Whistles start way before the actual movie starts. When the curtains raise, and the titles are On, You can only listen to the non stop Whistles(I personally cant whistle though).

The actual movie starts with team from government drilling a dam to check if it is standard enough to sustain incoming floods. There is a temple just nearby the dam, when Government started drilling the temple, the head of the Village(Singanuru) K Viswanath stops the officials. The very night the official is killed near the temple by Jagapathi Babu, the MP of the constituency and resident of the Village Singanuru. The Very Next day, K Viswanath calls upon entire Village and tells them that he had a dream The kinship of the Raja Lingeswara has to open the temple and search for them. The next take, you see Rajni stepping down a Limo and the start of O Rabba song. The song was choreographed pretty well. The locations were exotic. A good amount of money is definitely spent on the song like any other Rajni's movies. So Audience thought that Rajni is leading a Lavish life some where in the world being son of a Raja. But the next scene after the song reveals what Rajni is doing now. He is in a jail dreaming about traveling around the world.

Rajni does not like his grandfather Raja Lingeswara though he is named after him. He is under impression that his grand had all the Raja Bhoga and left nothing for his father who died as retired school teacher. And Rajni cuts his name to 'Lingaa' and is a thief. Beautiful Anushka Shetty comes to his rescue and bails him out of the jail. Brahmanandam is SI of the sub jail. Very short role and nothing impressive. Anushka is a news reporter and grand daughter of  K Viswanath. She came to take Lingaa back to Village. But Lingaa does not. Lingaa steals Anushka's gold chain and sells it to the usual jewelry shop owner where the owner makes a deal with Rajni to steal a 3 crore necklace from a shopping festival. Lingaa steals it and hands over it to the owner. The stealing scene is good and Anushka was indirectly involved in it. The jewelry owner promises to pay 1.5 crore to Lingaa's gang the next day. When Lingaa goes to the shop, He see the police taking the owner to Jail. With no future insight except for being caught by Police, He goes to Anushka and understands that it is a ploy played by her, with no more options he agrees to go to Singanuru to open the temple.

After this there is a theft, Big flashback(lengthiest flashback I have seen), Final fight scene with Jagapathi Babu.  That is how movie ends. Just like any other Rajni's movie. Watch out for more in Theater.

Most of the Rajni's Movie follow the same formula like the one below :
1) Grand pa Rajni spends all his wealth for the poor
2) Child Rajni or Grand Child Rajni comes and again rescues the same Village.

Highlights of the movie :

1) Rajni
2) Train Scene
3) Kurnool district repeating multiple times.
4) Construction of Dam and graphics

Thumbs down in the movie :
1) Cant expect Rajni to fight like 20 year old Bruce lee.
2) Weak Story line, would have been a better story a decade ago
3) Music was lackluster, Rahman did not produce enough his least best score.
4) Boring in patches.
5) Not a sound ending.
6) Screenplay looks amiss sometimes.

I think, Rajni has to stop making such movies and do some experimental movies. He should try acting his age in one of the future movies to thrill his fans. I don't like some guy who is not fan of Rajni talk funny about him neither do any other fan.

Whatever, You can watch lingaa if you are fan of Rajni, If you are not, you can watch once.

Verdict : Baba was better than this movie!!!

Herr Hitler - A Hit in India - Why?

Hitler's goals were to
1) Unite all Germanic people - Aryan Race
2) acquire living space (Lebensraum) for them, and
3) Get rid of the German area of 'sub-human' races in order to maintain Germanic racial purity.

He killed many Jews across Europe. He killed his own German people whom he deemed, are not of Aryan race. He thought woman's only duty is to bore kids. He did what no one imagine can do. He was the cruelest of Cruel. Yet, He is a Hit and Strict parents and neighbours in India are compared to Hitler. Why?

He comes from a very poor and humble family. Yet, He had bigger plans. He wanted Bigger congregations, bigger war tanks. He wanted conquer the Europe. He wanted the show the mighty. He wanted to belittle every other race in the world. Yet, He is a Hit and Strict parents and neighbours in India are compared to Hitler. Why?

Bollywood movies were made taking his name. Chiranjeevi himself did make a movie 'Hitler' which was a super dupe hit and is a cult movie. One of the shops in Ahmedabad branded itself with the name of the Hitler. But Why?

Why is Hitler so famous in India? Every Tom, Dick and Harry uses his name to comment his strict neighbour and uncles/aunts.

Most of the analysis was that Indians do not know what Hitler did during world war II, they just know him as the ONE who wanted to conquer the world with big ambitions.

Well said and Analyzed, i found 3 things which stand out from my childhood education regarding Hitler.

First Thing,

We believed that Hitler loves India and was helping Subash Chandra Bose in attaining independence for India. SC Bose is one of the most Reversed Freedom fighters in India whose agenda was 'Give me Blood and I will give you freedom' He formed Azad Hind Fauj and Started war against Britain in India. He did not believe that non-violence is going to give us freedom. He did not have the patience to wait for Freedom when he can attain with brute force. As a Kid, Most of us get attracted to Violence. Though Violence does not stay with us while growing, the ideologies which supported Violence or any form of uprising stay with us, and we believe in it. I still Revere SC Bose the same I used to do in School. I revere SC Bose... Hitler friend of SC Bose, had no bad impact on me. You know Friend of a Friend is a friend.

Second Thing,

Somehow teachers used to portray Hitler in good sense. That he tried saving his Race. He loved Indians. He loved DhyanChand. Helped Indian National Army to fight against Britain. Even our social studies text books have excerpts which suggest the same. It kind of created positive views about him. They used to suggest to read Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' and Leo Tolstoys' 'War and Peace'. Though I never read both. Seriously, I did not know the kind of person Hitler was, till I was in grad school.

Third Thing,

Movies and Neighborhood. A strict Uncle/Teacher is called a Hitler. Hitler was synonymous with Discipline and Imposing Kind of Characters.Teachers and parent used to say 'You need a Hitler to set you right'. You start respecting such kind of person with fear though you develop hatred to such people in coming days.

Yeah those are the 3 reasons I think are basis for Hitler becoming a household name or Hit Name in India, my country.

Why SC Bose met Herr Hitler in Germany? Why SC Bose allied with Axis powers? What are Hitler's Views on Indians? What is Mein Kampf all about?

If you want to know, Please join History Class. ThankQ! ;)

P.S. I neither endorse Hitler nor revere him... :)

Daily Life of My Ancestor!

Who is my ancestor?

Who's yours?

Yours' might be kings, business men and Pujaris.. I come from a more humble back ground.. My ancestors are peasants... Peasants???

Thats what I can tell about 5 generations backwards.... My Father was also a farmer... Thats what I used to write in my School Dairy.. Oh He actually was... But not 6 AM to 9 PM farmer... just a farm manager...

There are 3 kinds of Farmers...
One who actually does farming.....
One who manages farming with help of agriculture labourers......
One like me sitting here, writing stuff, getting some money out of leasing out land to other farmers.....

My father was a type 2 farmer, I am type 3... My great grand father was type 1 farmer... I missed my grand father... He is none of that... He was an intellectual brat with high qualifications.. and Did nothing.. Yes nothing!

So it is like this....The type 1-  The people who had lands, used to cultivate their land and used to earn bread.... They used to employ lower middle class to help them with cultivation... So, It was everyone's hard work who got food to everyone irrespective of who owned or who don't!

When there was drought... Everyone used to suffer... but good ones used to share the food with poor/needy and used to wait for another good season....

They are incredibly hardworking. They get up early in the morning even before the cockcrow. They care for nothing — may it be winter, summer or rain.  They used to work work work and die.

Everyone wanted to be happy and secure better future for themselves and their kids.... And their Land...

They used to Celebrate only those festives and sacrifices only meant for the land and corp.. nothing else.

Let me come back to Type 2 - Present day, Teens' parents or grandparents's used to own lands, did not actually do farming... They would not bend their back... They were more of managers. They buy pesticides, get seeds and try to be political.  They used to spend more of their time on politics but used to make sure that agriculture labourers are working by employing by their subordinates on the field... most of the times.. their own wives..

Woman... They were the most powerful managers on the agriculture field and very hard working... They used to manage farm and house with equal enthusiasm and equal love.... If you imagine that farming is occupation of Men.. Then you are totally wrong.. and you need total introspection of yourself!

They tried their best to carry the tradition along.. But may be bad or good.. Many other jobs are getting created.. They started to degrade themselves... and tried to elevate their kids who are studying engineering/medicine... later software engineers and doctors... They did everything to push their kids to good positions irrespective their bad conditions and debt drift lives... They thought earning money is important but not growing crops.... They use to work work talk and die....

Then began collapse of Peasants ancestry..... you only find it in pockets across India... only in remote villages.

Agricultural labourers became new peasants... They started tilling land... buying land from their owners.... though in small number... as they cant afford many....

They started to work hard and followed the footsteps of Type 1 farmers... the input has increased.... thanks to technology and machinery..... But they started feeling the shallowness the type 2 farmer felt... To provide better education and life to their kids... They started taking huge loans from money lenders... hoping they can repay once they get crop in hand... the cycle continues every year.. they keep trying hard... No sleep No food... you can actually see their Nerves... Physically and Mentally... They cant let go..... This actually led to Type 3 farmers like me... I don't feel bad being Type 3.. I am descended of Type 2 and still have love for land what type 1 used to have... There are many in my circle... who are none of it..... They don't feel bad... They actually don't care writing about it too... We just work hard, party harder and die

Its not feeling bad or good about farming..  Just sit back and think.. Who will be the next generation who is going to farm?

Its should be our duty to Wash the face.... Put on Dhoti... Pick the plow ... Carry Plow on our shoulders...  Walk on the those Hard Mounds of Mud....See the Sun hiding his face behind mountains far away..Reach the farm.. Kiss the land... and plunge the sharp blade of the plow into the land... and Start Ploughing...... Any Day!

Proud to be member of Family of Farmers... !

LOVE - Loss Of Valuable Education!!!

Short Films - 90% are just based on the theme of LOVE... I am being humble!

Why 90% of the short films are on LOVE? Why?

I started questioning myself.. I too watched those short films.. and Most of them are Silly!

Does it make LOVE silly? May Be!

How do you judge LOVE? My school going Cousin says... Its Just Loss Of Valuable Education...

Is it So? Don't you think it is just the opposite!!! :D

We need to ask some one who is in Deep LOVE.... At least those who think they are!!! ;)

Whom Should I ask? Married one? or Unmarried? What might they say?

They Say - LOVE is eternal.... Yes, it is... that is why... it is short!!!

As a Kid, I used to think Mother's LOVE is the greatest... In School Mother Theresa's LOVE is the greatest.... In College Someone's LOVE is the greatest... whose LOVE is greatest?

Is their LOVE loss Of Valuable Education? Is theirs a LOVE? or Are we misinterpreting the meaning of Love?

Might be there are many forms of LOVE? what form of love we want at different age levels?

Do you really want LOVE? Many questions unanswered... No time to find answers!!!

Those who have..... Don't bug me :)

Moscow Kasko!!!

I am looking for the cab driver who has to pick me up. I don't know him and I don't know his language.

As Bee hovers over the flowers, I see many taxi drivers wanting to pocket a Foreign Brown Desi not knowing he is Indian or Bangladeshi or Pakistani. That is how he earns extra filthy bucks - Everywhere Story.

At a distance, I see a guy standing, holding my client's placard. I rush to him, He takes me to his car.

On the way to the parking lot, When I just stepped out of the airport... I can feel the twinge of the cold weather... Is Moscow living up to the expectations being a cold city????

I can feel my ears being pulled apart... my nasal airways are finding it hard to control breathe.... my numb hands are hiding under the pockets.... My first time in a sub zero temperatures.... Once inside the cab.... Aah.... what an help!!!

The road to the city from Domodedovo International Airport is vastly deserted for some kilometers with a lot of cars on the way to Airport. The road is wide and slippery...

I tried to converse with the cab driver... He replies in Russian... I speak English... tried universal language... the sign language... did not work!!!!... then comes the miracle... he grabs his smart phone.. opens up a app.... asks me to type English... it just translated to Russian.... and he just the reverse.... It helped!!! Otherwise it was Mute journey to the Grand Marriott Moscow.

605 was my room number. Well, Big room indeed. Cozy Bed - Dozed Off.

Visit to Osweiciem - Aushwitz

Schindler's list is one movie in everyone's list to Watch.

I have had privilege to see all the places where schindler has been too and helped jews/poles out of danger.

Conquering the fear of heights!!!

Acrophobia - I never knew that I have acrophobia until one day in the my college, I was on top of the college building!

Did I do anything to conquer it? Till Date, No. Coz, I just avoid going heights!!! and I rarely get chance to try something super tall!!!

I totally forgot that I have Acrophobia..... Till one day!!!

The day was a Sunday, September the 21th in 2014. Woke up at 4:30 PM, took multiple autos reached Uppal cross roads. Ravi, my colleague with his friend were waiting for me! Along with them, Many others who are going to common destination.

Ravi's friend Pradeep(my friend too!) is driving his Maruti swift on NH9 on 100s. It was decent morning with sun rays hitting the car, some good old songs on the radio, feeling pretty good. I love road trips!

We reached Bhongir, stopped for breakfast - had idly and tomato chutney - tasty! started again towards to Bhongir Fort to do Rappelling.

Till the day before the actual rappelling date, I did not know what Rappelling is. My friends said, its just climbing down the mountain with ropes. It sounded easier :)

Bhongir Fort is situated on rocky mountain - actually an isolated Monolithic Rock. You can view the entire town from the Fort. You cant see the fort from the foot of the hill.

There are steps to climb the hill. But the Group(from HATS) are adamant that we have to climb the hill.

The hill was moderately steep initially. I was able to do good till a point where the inclination suddenly changes to more than 60-70 degrees.

And We need to climb rocks and jump over wedges...

Once I reached the wall.... I was so thinking that... why did not I take steps instead? Due to the fear... I was feeling nauseous.... I laid for a minute and good to normal!!

Nervousness + Fear + Too Many Channels running in the brain = Near Death Experience.

I just arrived at the calculation of near death kind of experience 2nd time in my life when I was near the wall(In the pic)... But As you see I am still alive... a minute of lying down... asserting myself... channeling my thoughts.. being positive... encouraged by others.. A sip of water... cooled me down.. When ever you are down... just sip the water!!! :D

After climbing the wall, We were on our way to the Fort. It was pleasant when we reached the top of the fort. For me, It is a sense of achievement - Overcoming the fear of heights - The fear which I almost forgot that I had it.

Then Comes Rappelling... Surprisingly.... I did not face a moment of fear in this activity!!! this one is more about technique... The more you feel comfortable about to try new things.... the more you will enjoy... I was very happy doing it and I thoroughly enjoyed it....

You will feel like Indian Army men climbing down the Himalayas.... you will feel like Tom Cruise Cruising down the Burj Khalifa..... Its all about the Feeling!!!

End of The day... We all look at our accomplishments.... This one is added to the List!!! Checked!

Visit to Krakow

I am lucky enough to get my first chance to a foreign Nation - It is coupled with more joy as the trip was to Europe - To the city of the Nazi holocaust - Krakow!!

Visit To Berlin - Alexandar Platz, BrandenBerg Tor

Berlin - Capital of Germany - Unification of East and West Germany!!

Berlin has a lot of History!!! I am not going to talk about it :)

This 2nd Major city in Europe I have been to! I had a 10 hour overlay when flying back to India on my first trip to Krakow in the month of August 2014.

I have visited Alexandar Platz, Washinton Platz and Burdenburg Tor among many other things. Below are some of the pics are the above three areas.
